Insurance consultancy Gracechurch has awarded Allianz its Service Quality Marque (SQM) for the seventh year in a row, after UK regional brokers rated Allianz Commercial’s claims service as consistently outstanding.
The annual independent research found that Allianz ratings were particularly strong for relationships and expertise, as the business insurer struck the right balance between in-person claims handling and online capability through Claims Hub.
Overall, the net promoter score (NPS) for Allianz was high throughout 2022, with a market-leading position in motor, as well as accident and health (A&H), according to the Gracechurch survey.
Gracechurch managing director Ben Bolton commented: “Allianz is one of the largest players in the UK market and its service quality is impressive: investment in claims portal technology has been executed really well, achieving a great balance between people and tech and setting a high bar for the competition.”
