Saskatoon police say a body found on a range road on Tuesday morning is now being investigated as a homicide.

Police restricted traffic on Range Road 3062, near the intersection with 11th Street West, on Tuesday morning while investigating the suspicious death, according to a release.

In an afternoon update, police said the death has been determined to be a homicide and the victim has been identified as a 44-year-old Saskatoon woman. Police said they will not release her name at the request of her family.
Two persons of interest, a 37-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, have been taken into custody. On Wednesday, police said in a release that the man had been charged with second-degree murder and the woman charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
